SERVICES

Through the aid of its Facilities and Equipments, COMT offers to the scientific community, to public and private institutions and to private companies a number of Laboratory Services that may contribute to the advancement of the customers’ research and product development efforts. Provided Services rely upon basic biochemical, cell biological and molecular biological methods, or more advanced techniques and protocols that, in part, have been developed by core Units of the Centre. Thus, the custom Services that can be requested may be based upon established and standardized procedures, propriety methods and technologies, or may be tailored to satisfy the customer’s needs.

The modalities and costs involved in the performance of the Services, and the delivery of their output, are accurately defined for each Service. For requesting a quotation, customers are invited to fill out the “Service Request” form found on this web page. Please note that in the price listing "Internal price" and "External price" refer to the price charged to Internal or External users respectively, as defined by the Centre’s Regulations. These prices may be negotiated with the indicated Reference persons, or with the Director of the Centre. Naturally, any requested Service is bound by strict confidentiality and is performed in accordance to the ethical rules of the Centre.

Investigators are also welcome to contact COMT for advice and problem solving, in relation to specific conceptual, methodological or technical aspects pertaining to the Services offered by the Centre. Such “consulting assistance” will be charged separately from the list prices detailed below and is subject to specific negotiation.
